Week 2 : Automotive electric and Diagnosis of Sensors:
- Charging & starting systems: types, components,
- Wires, connectors, wiring diagram with case
- DSO, OBD-II Scan tool, DTC with examples
- Sensors: speed & position (Inductive & Hall-effect), Load (MAP & MAF), O2, Knock, TPS & CTS & ATS & Fuel level sensor).
Week 3 : Computer Fundamentals& actuators:
- Computer Fundamentals: voltage sensing
- Ignition Systems: operation, types, signal
- Ignition Systems: operation, types, signal
- Injection Systems: operation, types, signal waveform, tests, fuel trim, case
- Injection Systems: operation, types, signal waveform, tests, fuel trim, case
Week 4 : Multiplexing Principles & Computer fundamentals
- EGR, Canister, IAC, ETC &
- PWM, ME-Motronic schematic diagram, Memory chips (RAM, ROM, EPROM, … ).
- Vehicle communications: CAN-Bus, FlexRay,
